Service Days

Beginning 2022 as a weekly warm halal meal distribution and regular service day charity with the help of Shaykh Adam, we continue in remembrance of our brother. At Shepherd Parkway, Parkland “Malcolm X Park;” Malcolm X Ave. & MLK Jr. Ave. SE Washington, DC 20032, we distributed warm meals, water, clothing, shoes, toys, towels, blankets, dry/canned goods, hygiene products for women, and more. Please share this with anyone in need and be sure to come on by for a warm meal, shop some new/gently worn clothing, and/or pick up some essentials. Contact us for more information; thanks!

Eid Mubarak! Thank you to our beloved brothers and sisters of @BDeshFoundation and #MasjidIbnTaymiyyah for partnership in doing good deeds! Between late Saturday, March 29th and early Sunday, March 30th, 2025, #BrightwoodSolutions and @EricaGreenInc picked up a plethora of halal goods - 50 frozen chickens, dozens of Fitrana baskets (bags), and several boxes of 10 pound bags of rice for Muslim families in @DCPS and within our local masjids. We even got to distribute some goods via Imam Ibn Yaadee before Eid-al Fitr’s daylight hours! May Allah accept! Ameen!

Fitrana is a charitable donation that Muslims are required to pay before Eid-al-Fitr, a festival marking the end of Ramadan. The donation helps support those in poverty so they can celebrate Eid-al-Fitr with dignity.
